Shift planning

Shift planningin the new AI era.

The roster and the payroll cost are the same data, so the budget line updates while you plan rather than after the month closes.

Schedule

Planning that knows what it costs.

Every shift carries the agreement rules that apply to it, so the moment a shift moves to a Sunday or past 18:00 the supplement is applied and the running cost changes. Under-staffing and rule breaches show while you are still planning.

  1. 16 open shifts and 3 declined, before anyone asks.
  2. 3Mikkel is sick, and Oliver already covers his late shift.
Shift planning, 31 Aug–6 Sep: 11 people and 36 shifts, with 6 open and 3 declined shifts in the Unassigned lane123
  1. 2All six are already on the Marketplace, and Assign them hands them out from here.

Marketplace

Let the team fill the gaps.

A shift nobody can take goes to the Marketplace, where qualified colleagues can pick it up. The swap still goes through approval, and it lands in time tracking and payroll like any other shift — no side agreement over text message.

  • Publish an unfilled shift to everyone qualified for it
  • Swaps and pick-ups routed through the normal approval
  • Only offered to people whose skills and hours allow it
  • Straight into time tracking and the pay run once approved
Shift Marketplace for Support: open shifts from 31/08, three with a claim, Give to buttons and Mark urgent123
  1. 1Offers need a manager’s approval before a shift changes hands.
  2. 2A colleague has already claimed it.
  3. 3One click gives the shift to them.

Insights

Cost and cover, against the target.

Labour cost as a share of revenue against your target, the shifts still unfilled this week, and a heatmap of over- and under-staffing per hour, from demand templates and the shifts already assigned.

  • Live cost against budget as the roster changes
  • Supplements from the collective agreement applied automatically
  • Rest-period and maximum-hours warnings before publishing
Shift planning insights, week 36: labour cost 21 % against a 24 % target, 526 DKK revenue per worked hour, 5 open shifts and an over/under-staffing heatmap

On the phone

Your shifts, in your pocket.

The next shift, the week ahead and every supplement, on the phone the shift worker already carries — with the pay attached before the shift is worked.
